Who can become a Software Tester

To become a software tester, it is not necessary to be an engineering graduate. Any one with a bachlors' degree can become a software tester. Software testing does not require deep computer software or hardware knowledge. Now a days a lot of companies like Cognizant and Oracle are recruiting science graduates for software testing jobs. Software Testing requires knowledge of computer languages and good aptitude. Thus as long as one has these skills, one can look forward for a career in software testing.
